Betting Exchange
A betting exchange is a platform where players bet against each other — with no bookmaker as an intermediary. There are two key roles: Back (betting for) and Lay (betting against).
Example: Say there is a T20 match between Bangladesh and India. You Back Bangladesh with ৳500 at odds of 2.0 — meaning if Bangladesh wins, you receive ৳1,000 (your original ৳500 + ৳500 profit). At the same time, another player has Laid Bangladesh — they believe Bangladesh will lose.
On an exchange, odds are set by other players, not a bookmaker. The platform typically takes a small commission on winnings.
| Back (For) | Lay (Against) |
|---|---|
| Betting that the team/player will win | Betting that the team/player will lose |
| Same as a standard sportsbook | Taking on the role of the bookmaker |
| Limited risk — equal to the stake amount | Potential liability can be higher |
| Easy to get started | Suited for experienced players |
Cricket Partnership
The relationship between the online gaming industry and international cricket is growing closer. Online casino and sportsbook brands around the world are increasingly interested in partnerships with cricket tournaments and teams.
This trend is especially visible in the Bangladesh market. Babu88 is known for its involvement with the Montreal Tigers and Colombo Strikers in international leagues. Crickex is active in regional sponsorships across South Asia. JeetBuzz has appointed West Indies star all-rounder Andre Russell as its brand ambassador.
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), IPL, and T20 World Cup are hugely popular among cricket fans in Bangladesh. Every match the Tigers play generates excitement across the country. The combination of this cricket tradition with online sports betting is giving the Bangladeshi gaming industry a new dimension.
The partnership information above is based on generally known industry information and does not represent claims made by tk669 itself.
Bankroll Management Guide
The most important aspect of responsible gaming is managing your money properly. Set a fixed budget that, even if lost, will have no impact on your daily life. Think of this budget as your "entertainment expense".
Divide your total bankroll into smaller session portions. If your monthly budget is ৳5,000, use a maximum of ৳500–৳600 per session. This way, one bad day cannot wipe out your entire month's budget.
The 1%–5% per bet rule: Do not spend more than 1% to 5% of your total session bankroll on any single bet. For example, if your session budget is ৳500, keep each bet between ৳5 and ৳25.
Knowing the right time to stop after a win is important. Set a profit target in advance (for example: stop when I reach 200% profit) and end the session once you reach that target.
Set a loss limit the same way (for example: end the session if I lose 50%). Never rush to place more bets to recover lost money — this only increases losses. Keep a record of every session: deposits, withdrawals, profit or loss — this gives you a clear picture of your actual spending.
